1. Introduction
These Terms apply to all users of our website and all customers utilizing our storage facilities within the United Arab Emirates. They govern the use of our services, your rights and responsibilities, and our obligations to you.2. Eligibility & Use of Services
● You must be 18 years or older to enter into a storage agreement.
● Services are provided for personal and business storage only.
● You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during booking or registration.
● Misrepresentation may result in cancellation or denial of service.3. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal compliance, you are strictly prohibited from storing the following:
● Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials (e.g., gas, oil, paint)
● Illegal items (e.g., narcotics, firearms, stolen goods)
● Live animals, humans, or biological materials
● Perishable food items or plants
● Currency, precious metals, or valuables exceeding declared limits without prior approval
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your contract and notification to legal authorities.4. Booking & Payment
● All bookings must be confirmed via our website or authorized personnel.
● Full payment is required in advance for the selected storage term.
● Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
● Late or missed payments may result in:
○ Restricted access to your unit
○ Late fees
○ Disposal or auctioning of stored items as permitted by UAE law5. Access to Units
● Customers may access their units during regular business hours.
● After-hours access may be granted by request and may incur additional fees.
● We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access for safety, maintenance, or security purposes.6. Security & Liability
● Our facility is equipped with 24/7 CCTV surveillance and electronic access controls.
● While we maintain strict security protocols, we are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.
● Customers are strongly encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage for stored items.7. Termination of Service
● Either party may terminate the agreement with a minimum of 7 days’ written notice.
● If items remain in the unit past the agreed period without renewal, they may be treated as abandoned.
● We reserve the right to dispose of, donate, or auction abandoned items in accordance with UAE regulations.8. Changes to Services
Short Term Storage LLC reserves the right to:
● Modify, suspend, or discontinue any service
● Adjust pricing or terms
● Make changes effective upon posting on our website Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
